The world isn’t as bad as your feed makes it look.

Bloomscroll is a feed of what’s going right, a map of good things to do around Miami, and three quick picks when you need something good tonight.

What the app does

A feed of what’s going right

Full-screen stories you swipe through, about science, nature, communities, and people doing good work. Each one shows where it came from and whether it has been verified, and most say why it matters.

React with Made my day or Good human instead of a like, and tell it More like this or Less like this. When you reach the end, it says so, and asks if you want to go find some in person.

Good around you

Nearby puts Miami events on a map. Filter by when, from right now to this weekend, by how far you want to go, and by price, or flip to a list.

Every event says how solo-friendly it is and how easy it is to meet people there. Both scores are our estimates, and the app labels them that way.

Three picks, not three hundred

Tap I need something good and answer four questions: when, your mood, your budget, and how far you’ll travel. You get three picks, each with the reason it was chosen. Not feeling them? Ask for three different ones.

Say you’re going, going solo, or open to meeting people. My Good Week keeps your plans together and helps you add the ones you choose to your calendar.

From your couch to somewhere good

  1. Scroll what’s going right

No account needed. Pick a few interests and your neighborhood, and the feed starts.

  2. Find something nearby

Use the map, search the way you’d say it (“tonight,” “dogs,” “Wynwood”), or let the app pick three.

  3. Make it a plan

Say you’re going and add it to your calendar. Only what you choose goes on it, and the app never reads your calendar.

  4. Share what you saw

Saw something good out there? Tell it in a few words. A person reviews every post before it goes live.

Our promises

The same promises the app makes in its Settings, in plain words.

  • Look around without an account.
  • Your location is optional and only used while the app is open. It’s rounded to about a kilometer on your phone and never stored. Or just pick your neighborhood.
  • No background location. Ever.
  • We never ask for your contacts, email inbox, bank, or documents.
  • We only add events to your calendar when you tap Add. We never read it.
  • No ads in the app. We don’t track you across other apps, and we don’t sell your information.
  • Delete your account from Settings whenever you want.

The details are in our privacy policy.

Questions

Is it only in Miami?

The map is, for now: Miami Beach and Brickell to Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Little Havana. The good-news feed isn’t limited to Miami.

Do I need an account?

No. You can scroll, use the map, save things, and get picks without one. You need an account, with Sign in with Apple or your email, to say you’re going, share something, follow people, or report something. Accounts are for people 17 and older.

Where do the stories come from?

Some summarize public news releases from science and government agencies, drafted with AI and always linked to the original release. Others come from people in the community: those are labeled as user submissions, and a person reviews each one before it goes live.

Where do the events come from?

From public event listings around Miami, and from people who share events they know about. Events from public listings link back to the original.

What does “solo-friendly” mean?

It’s a 1-to-5 estimate of how comfortable an event is to go to on your own, next to a second score for how easy it is to meet people there. Both are our estimates, and the app says so.

Is it just good vibes?

No. It doesn’t pretend nothing is wrong. It shows what’s going right, with sources, so the rest of the picture is easier to see clearly.

Does it send notifications?

Not in this version. Settings lets you choose the kinds you’d want, and they stay quiet by default when they arrive.

How do I report something or get help?

Once you’re signed in, use Report on any story, event, or profile. Use Block or Mute on anyone’s profile. For anything else, see Support.

See the good. Find the good. Be part of it.
