Is it only in Miami?
The map is, for now: Miami Beach and Brickell to Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Little Havana. The good-news feed isn’t limited to Miami.
Do I need an account?
No. You can scroll, use the map, save things, and get picks without one. You need an account, with Sign in with Apple or your email, to say you’re going, share something, comment, follow people, or report something. Accounts are for people 17 and older.
Where do the stories come from?
Some are short summaries, drafted with AI, of public-domain news releases from NASA, NSF and NOAA, and of stories from six good-news outlets: Good News Network, Positive News, Reasons to be Cheerful, Good Good Good, The Optimist Daily and Nice News. Each one names its source and links to the original, and a story from an outlet shows the article’s own preview image, credited to the outlet. Others come from people in the community: those are labeled as user submissions, and each one is checked before it goes live, by AI and by our team.
Where do the events come from?
From public event listings around Miami, and from people who share events they know about. Events from public listings link back to the original.
What does “solo-friendly” mean?
It’s a 1-to-5 estimate of how comfortable an event is to go to on your own, next to a second score for how easy it is to meet people there. Both are our estimates, and the app says so.
Is it just good vibes?
No. It doesn’t pretend nothing is wrong. It shows what’s going right, with sources, so the rest of the picture is easier to see clearly.
Does it send notifications?
Not in this version. Settings lets you choose the kinds you’d want, and they stay quiet by default when they arrive.
How do I report something or get help?
Once you’re signed in, use Report on any story, event, comment, or profile. Use Block or Mute on anyone’s profile, or Block from any of their comments. For anything else, see Support.
